Your recent gift of $20,000 will allow us to implement programs with efficiency to help New York's neediest individuals, children and families. As per your instructions, the gift will also be directed to institutions that are focused on feeding the hungry and providing educational scholarships.

As a valued friend and investor, we want to share in the success of one our programs:

For example, United Way of New York City-funded efforts including our Food Card Access Project have helped over 68,000 low-income individuals enroll in the federal Food Stamp program and put nutritious food on the table. The program has also brought close to $130 million into the local economy. A testament to the strength of our partnerships, matching government funds have magnified the financial impact of this program - for every $1 United way of New York City invests, $1 is leveraged from the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance.
